Bartenbach GmbH goes to great lengths to handle your personal data carefully and sensibly. We collect, process and use your personal data in accordance with the applicable statutes, particularly the European Data Protection Directive and its interpretation and implementation in national law. Bartenbach GmbH reserves the right to change at any time the privacy policy to comply with amendments or changes in statutes or regulations or due to changes in business operation. In this case we publicise a new version of our Privacy Policy. We hereby advise you to check regularly for changes in our Privacy Policy, which you can access from our website. We assume that in case of continued utilisation of our website you agree to the latest valid version.

1.         Scope

1.1      Use of the www.bartenbach.com website is subject to the following data privacy policy. This website is provided by Bartenbach GmbH, Rinner Strasse 14, 6071 Aldrans.

1.2      It is important for us that your personal data are protected and that in particular your right to personal privacy is safeguarded whenever your personal data are processed and used. The term personal data refers to information regarding the personal and/or factual circumstances of a specific or specifiable natural person including the person’s name, postal address, e-mail address and/or telephone number and user data such as the IP address. We collect, process, and use your personal data in compliance with the relevant laws.

2.         Automated data collection and processing by the browser

2.1      As is the case with all Internet sites, our server automatically collects and temporarily stores the following data in server log files which, unless you have disabled this function, are sent to the server by the browser:

    IP address of the requesting computer
    File request from the client
    The http response code
    The website from which you are visiting us (referrer URL)
    Date and time of the server request
    Type, version and language of your browser
    The operating system used by the requesting computer

No person-related evaluation is made of server log files. This data cannot be ascribed to particular persons by the provider at any time. The data is not consolidated with other data sources.

2.2      This website uses Google Analytics, a Web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses small text files called cookies which are saved on your computer to facilitate analysis of your website use. The information collected relates to your operating system, browser and IP address, the website you accessed previously (referrer URL), and the date and time of your visit to our website. The information about the way you use this website created by the cookie is usually sent to and stored on a Google server in the USA. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will first truncate your IP address in Member States of the European Union or in other state parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to and truncated on a Google server in the USA. Google uses this information on behalf of the website operator to evaluate the way you use the website, to collate reports on website activities and to provide the website operator other services related to website and Internet use. The IP address sent by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data held by Google.

3.         Collection and processing of data voluntarily provided by the user

3.1      Any personal data communicated to us by email or via our website at www.bartenbach.com will generally be done so on a voluntary basis. Any such data is used to process your inquiries, to conduct our own market or opinion research, and for our own postal advertising. Your data will only be used to send you advertising by email if you have given us permission to do so.

3.2      If you would like to contact us using the contact form, we will need to know how to address you, your name, your country of origin and your email address. It would be easier for us to contact you if you volunteer further personal data to us.

If you want to subscribe to our newsletter, please provide your valid e-mail address and your country of origin and confirm that you are in agreement with the following:

“I agree that Bartenbach and her divisions may process and use the data I have provided for the purpose of sending me and contacting me by e-mail, telephone, newsletters, etc. to inform me about products, references as well as about Bartenbach Company and Divisions current campaigns and events.

I can revoke this agreement at any time by writing to Bartenbach GmbH, Rinner Strasse 14, 6071 Aldrans, or by sending an email to privacy@bartenbach.com. As soon as I revoke such agreement, the data I provided will be deleted from all mentioned systems and no longer will be used to send me the newsletter”

3.3      Personal data provided to us via our website will be saved only for the time it takes us to meet the purpose for which you provided such data. When your contract has been fulfilled completely, your data will be blocked and then deleted in accordance with the relevant tax, trade and building regulations unless you have given your explicit consent to such data being used for other purposes. To the extent mandatory trade, tax and building retention periods (=legal provisions) need to be observed, the retention period for some types of data can be up to thirty years.

4.         Subcontractors

We will not disclose to third parties any personal data you have provided to us. Such data will only be passed on

    with your permission;
    to subcontractors for the purpose of dealing with your inquiries, your orders and the use of our services; such subcontractors may only receive or use the data required for the purpose of performing this order;
    to service providers bound by instructions if required to process your order data in accordance with the law;
    to authorised recipients in compliance with legal obligations.

5.         Cookies

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in your Web browser cache. Cookies are used in particular to recognise your Web browser when you return to the site.
